**Job Description**

Tudor Employment is looking for an experienced Residential Care Lead to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes and promote independence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Children's residential or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner qualification
  • Experience in a children's home setting
  • Supervisory experience
  • Passion to help nurture young people
  • Able to work shift patterns including sleep ins
  • Full, UK driving licence

**Responsibilities include:**

  • Supporting the daily running of the home
  • Leading teams
  • Conducting Supervisions
  • Shift planning
  • Supporting team development
  • Direct practical interactions with children and young people
  • General house duties and maintenance
  • Completing health and safety checks
  • Budgeting
  • Advocacy
  • Engage in planning, creating, updating and implementing care plans
  • Creating, updating and adhering to individual risk assessments
  • Keyworking
  • Working in partnership with other agencies
  • Report writing and attending reviews as required
