Senior Workforce EDI Manager Job Description

This role presents an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the employee experience at UKRI. As a key member of the Workforce EDI team, you will be responsible for shaping the company's inclusive culture and embedding EDI principles across all aspects of the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EDI initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Provide expert guidance and support to embed EDI across UKRI
  • Manage relationships with staff networks and other stakeholders to promote EDI
  • Collaborate with the Workforce EDI team and Culture Inclusion and Learning to develop a centre of expertise in EDI
Key Requirements
  • Experience working in an EDI role or relevant function, providing expert advice and support
  • Up-to-date knowledge of equality legislation, employment law, and HR and EDI policies and practices
  • Strong personal working, planning, organisation, and delivery skills; able to balance corporate, team, and individual priorities
  • Excellent collaboration, relationship, and stakeholder management skills
