Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges in a SEMH provision school in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant and strong communication skills to provide one-on-one and group support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing student behavior
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Strong communication skills and a nurturing attitude towards supporting student development
