About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Counselling Lecturer to join our dynamic team at Wiltshire College & University Centre. As a Variable Hours Lecturer in Counselling, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the development of future counselling professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lectures and seminars in Counselling, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of student performance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative initiatives.
About You
  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Professional experience in counselling practice or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of counselling theories, methodologies, and ethical practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours according to student and departmental needs.
