VHL Lecturer in Counselling Opportunity

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic VHL Lecturer in Counselling to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in Counselling, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Student Support: Provide academic support and guidance to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Contribute to the assessment and evaluation of student performance.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Actively participate in departmental meetings and collaborative initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Professional experience in counselling practice or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of counselling theories, methodologies, and ethical practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours according to student and departmental needs.
