VHL Lecturer in Vocational Studies Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Variable Hours Lecturer in Vocational Studies to join our vibrant team at Wiltshire College & University Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that meet the needs of our diverse student body.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our vocational curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and aligned with industry standards.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
  • Evaluate student progress through assignments and assessments, providing constructive feedback to guide their development.
  • Maintain strong links with industry professionals and employers to ensure our courses reflect current industry practices.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or vocational qualification in your subject area.
  • Practical experience in your vocational field, with a strong understanding of current industry practices.
  • Previous teaching or training experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications from industry professionals looking to move into education.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • The ability to adapt to varying hours and to deliver lessons across multiple campuses if needed.
