This role is a key part of our team and requires a highly skilled professional who can develop and manage our competitions and calendar of events. You will be responsible for leading the overall membership offer of the organisation and its online membership database.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Event Development:
- Develop and manage the sports competition calendar, ensuring advance planning and delivery of quality events for athletes, clubs, and international teams.
- Communications and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to promote events and the organisation's brand.
- Communicate effectively with officials, sub-committees, and stakeholders.
- Funding and Finance:
- Research and apply for funding opportunities from public sector bodies and potential sponsors.
- Manage event budgets and finances, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, sports development, or a related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
