Technical Implementation Architect

Flexible – Romsey | Gloucester | Woking

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Implementation Architect to join our expanding Corporate Services IT department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical solutions for our IT infrastructure, including on-premises systems, cloud computing, and air-gapped systems.
  • Collaborate with our systems engineering team to develop and maintain our enterprise IT environment.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to our team, ensuring the delivery of effective, reliable, and enduring IT platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field, including Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), VMWare, RedHat, and other vendor technologies.

Requirements:

  • Systems engineering experience at a technical lead or architectural level.
  • Ability to design, support, and maintain internal IT environments, platforms, and services at SME level or above.
  • Awareness of Defence or National Security IT standards is preferable.
