We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to join our Corporate Services IT department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IT environment. This will involve working with various technologies, including Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), VMWare, RedHat, and others.
Clearances:
Due to the nature of this role, eligibility for DV clearance is required. As a result, candidates should be British Citizens and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Key Technologies:
We use a range of enterprise IT technologies, including:
- Corporate Microsoft Estate: Our Microsoft full stack, O365, Azure, and AWS offerings.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure, including organisation design, tenancy/account management, security, identity management, service provisioning, and reporting functions.
- Mobile Device Management: Overseeing 300+ deployed mobile devices, applying best practices and industry standards.
- Cyber Security and Information Assurance: Managing and maintaining intrusion detection apparatus, supporting queries/investigations, and ensuring hardened configuration of IT equipment.
- DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering: Supporting enterprise software teams and their CI/CD requirements using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or SonarQube, among others.
