About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Architect to join our team at Square One Resources. As a key member of our Corporate Services IT department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical solutions for our enterprise IT environment, encompassing tasks across technical design, implementation, and support.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of internal IT environments, platforms, and services at a senior level.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our IT environment remains secure and efficient.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Systems Architect or similar role, with a strong background in systems engineering and technical design.
  • Expertise in vendor technologies such as Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), VMWare, RedHat, or similar.
  • Ability to design, support, and maintain internal IT environments, platforms, and services at a senior level.
  • Awareness of Defence or National Security IT standards is preferable; experience within these domains, including environments that operate at multiple classification levels, is advantageous.
Key Technologies
  • Corporate Microsoft Estate: Includes 1200+ desktops and hundreds of servers across multiple sites This encompasses 'On-Prem' Microsoft full stack alongside O365, Azure, and AWS offerings.
  • Cloud Platforms: Primarily AWS and Azure, including organisation design (layout), tenancy/account management, security, identity management, service provisioning, and reporting functions.
  • Mobile Device Management: Overseeing 300+ deployed mobile devices, applying best practices and industry standards.
  • Cyber Security and Information Assurance: Managing and maintaining intrusion detection apparatus, supporting queries/investigations, and ensuring hardened configuration of IT equipment.
  • DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering: Supporting enterprise software teams and their CI/CD requirements using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or SonarQube, among others.
