Senior Systems Engineer

Become a pivotal member of a growing Corporate Services IT division that caters to over 1000 users across a multitude of servers. The supported business sectors impose intricate requirements to provide efficient and dependable IT infrastructures across both on-premise and cloud environments, including isolated systems.

Essential Experience

  • Proven systems engineering expertise at a technical leadership level with vendor technologies including Microsoft, Amazon (AWS), VMware, RedHat, or equivalent.
  • Design, support, and manage internal IT frameworks, platforms, and services at a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level or higher.
  • Familiarity with IT standards pertinent to Defence or National Security.
  • Experience with Solution or Enterprise Architecture methodologies.

Core Technologies

  • Corporate Microsoft Environment: Over 1000 desktops and servers encompassing the complete on-premise Microsoft stack, O365, Azure, and AWS.
  • Cloud Solutions: Primarily utilizing AWS and Azure.
  • Identity and Directory Services: Design, administration, and upkeep of Microsoft Active Directory, OpenLDAP, KeyCloak, and Single Sign-On technologies.
  • Mobile Device Management: Overseeing deployed mobile devices.
  • Cybersecurity and Information Assurance: Managing intrusion detection systems and ensuring secure configurations of IT assets.
  • DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering: Supporting enterprise software development teams.
