Work Environment
This role supports a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in your daily work locations, which may include company offices, client sites, and your home. Please note that full-time remote work is not an option.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking Cloud Architects from diverse backgrounds, including infrastructure and cloud engineering, as well as technical or enterprise architecture. This role is ideal for individuals who aspire to adopt a strategic mindset towards infrastructure and cloud platform design and implementation. Our client engagements vary significantly in scope and complexity, welcoming applications from both emerging leaders and seasoned professionals.
As a Cloud Architect, you will engage in various project types and roles, including:
Programme Delivery Architect – In this capacity, you will oversee substantial programmes for our clients, coordinating a large team that typically comprises engagement managers, architects, engineers, testers, and business analysts. Your role will involve managing the technical delivery of these programmes, collaborating closely with an Engagement Manager and a team of architects across multiple initiatives. You will ensure efficient programme delivery while interfacing with key client stakeholders and providing architectural leadership and governance.
Project Delivery Architect – This role focuses on delivering specific projects for clients, where smaller teams (Engagement Managers, Engineers) are mobilized to achieve desired outcomes. As the Lead Architect, you will be responsible for developing essential project documentation (solution architectures, technical designs, migration plans) and overseeing the daily activities of technical architects and engineers while maintaining close collaboration with key client stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for cloud architects eager to advance their careers, possessing a solid foundation in the following areas, along with senior candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in most of these domains:
- Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure and cloud domains, including data centers, virtualization, networks, data storage, landing zones, and high-availability application architectures.
- Familiarity with leading technologies such as Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is advantageous.
- Proven experience in leading the design and execution of infrastructure and cloud initiatives.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and requirements among stakeholders during change delivery, with a solid grasp of architecture frameworks, artifacts, and governance.
- Architectural insight into operability, reliability, security, performance, and sustainability within infrastructure and cloud architectures. You will also mentor and coach team members to share knowledge and enhance team capabilities.
Security Clearance Requirements
Successful candidates must meet specific security clearance requirements, including residency in the United Kingdom for the past five years and other criteria.
