Network Infrastructure Architect

As a seasoned network engineer with expertise in hosted infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a critical global network that underpins our clients' global trading environments.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in hands-on management and support of global enterprise-scale network architecture, coupled with significant knowledge of technologies, standards, and industry guidelines applicable to the hybrid hosted infrastructure space.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement global network deployments, working closely with network architects to ensure client delivery is scoped, designed, and documented appropriately.
- Provide technical input into solutions design for support of new business requirements, including creation of technical requirements for third-party delivery partners.
- Aid in the design and implementation of global network re-architecture, including a move to a future zero-trust model.
- Drive secure networking and connectivity in our public cloud environment in AWS, working closely with network architects.
- Provide level 3 support for incidents and problem resolution when deep expertise is needed.
- Drive network automation to enable agility within our public and private cloud environments.
- Creation, maintenance, and review of operational and technical design documentation.
- Update and audit change management database entries as needed.
- Proven solutions design and architecture experience for secure global hybrid cloud network implementations.
- Proven third-line support experience in a time-sensitive, high-availability customer-facing environment.
- Proven network support and administration experience with strong hands-on experience working with, deploying, and supporting BGP, OSPF, and IP multicast within large-scale hybrid enterprise environments.
- Experience with designing, deploying, and running micro-segmented networks in hybrid environments.
- Experience with automation tools, scripting, and IaC in AWS, including Terraform.
- Experience working with and supporting distributed datacenter and hybrid cloud compute services.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with familiarity with network monitoring, management, and diagnostic tools.
