Network Infrastructure Architect

As a seasoned network engineer with expertise in hosted infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a global network that is critical to our clients' trading environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement global network architecture for client deployments and internal transformation projects, working closely with network architects to ensure scope, design, and documentation are accurate.
- Provide technical input into solutions design for new business requirements, including creation of technical requirements for third-party delivery partners.
- Aid in the design and implementation of global network re-architecture, including a move to a future zero-trust model.
- Lead the effort to drive secure networking and connectivity in our public cloud environment in AWS, working with network architects to ensure secure and resilient network design.
- Provide level 3 support for incidents and problem resolution, leveraging deep expertise to resolve complex issues.
- Drive network automation to enable agility within our public and private cloud environments.
- Develop, maintain, and review operational and technical design documentation.
- Update and audit change management database entries as needed.
- Collaborate with global team members and other teams to progress projects, designs, and incidents.
- Proven solutions design and architecture experience for secure global hybrid cloud network implementations.
- Proven third-line support experience in a time-sensitive, high-availability customer-facing environment.
- Strong network support and administration experience with hands-on experience working with, deploying, and supporting BGP, OSPF, and IP multicast within large-scale hybrid enterprise environments.
- Experience with designing, deploying, and running micro-segmented networks in hybrid environments.
- Experience with automation tools, scripting, and IaC in AWS, including Terraform.
- Experience working with and supporting distributed datacenter and hybrid cloud compute services.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with familiarity with network monitoring, management, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to support irregular working hours, including weekend shift working patterns.
