In this Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will join the dedicated team at EdEx, working closely with pupils who require additional guidance to succeed in the classroom. This is an exceptional opportunity for graduates seeking experience before pursuing roles in Therapists, Counsellors, or Speech and Language Therapists.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, your main focus will be on providing individualised support to students with SEN, promoting their engagement in lessons, and fostering the development of their social skills. You will also work within the classroom and smaller groups to accommodate diverse needs and ensure students' safety and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess a 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University, along with a genuine interest in working with students who have SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is your ability to adapt to changing situations and work collaboratively with others. Additionally, experience in a previous role or personal experience in SEN is highly desirable, as is a calm and compassionate nature.
