Your Role
We are currently seeking a Compassionate Care Leader to join our team at Chaseview in Burntwood. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and maintaining the highest standards of care.
About the Job
The ideal candidate will have an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and experience in person-centered care planning. You will be responsible for planning and implementing care that gives our residents a sense of security, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of your job and build strong relationships with your team
- Lead a team of Care Assistants and ensure they provide excellent care
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records
- Provide individualized care plans and review them regularly
Requirements
- S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Background in person-centered care planning
- Knowledge of caring for people with dementia
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
