About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with people with mental health needs, particularly in dementia and older adult care. They will possess strong clinical knowledge and be able to make autonomous decisions based on complex presenting problems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare, collaborating with various agencies to ensure seamless patient care. The role involves providing high-quality assessment, treatment, and comprehensive discharge planning using advanced clinical reasoning skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Work closely with individuals to understand, manage, and change their behavior, promoting empowerment and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, contributing to Clinical Governance activities.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with Professional Registration (NMC) or equivalent degree.
  • Strong assessment and risk management skills, with knowledge of the Mental Health Act and MCA (2005).
  • Evidence of continued professional development and specialization in clinical practice.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
