Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist to join our crisis recovery service in Boston, Lincolnshire.
As a key member of our 24/7 team, you will provide support to adults experiencing a decline in their mental health using the therapeutic intervention model. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop and deliver tailored recovery plans promoting control and independence.
You will also be responsible for liaising with external agencies to ensure access to a wide range of activities and resources.
Key Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of mental health issues
- At least 6 months' experience working in a social care setting (ideally mental health focused)
- Flexibility to participate in a varied rota and shift patterns, including sleep ins/waking nights and 24/7 support
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, creative approach
Compensation:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £23,400, increasing after completing the first 6 months. Additional overtime allowances, including extra pay for sleep ins and waking nights, will add £4,000 to the annual income.
