About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Analyst to join our team at Starling Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating cyber risks associated with our technology systems.

You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify and prioritize risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement controls to reduce the likelihood and impact of cyber breaches. Your expertise in cloud architecture, threat modelling, simulation exercises, and risk assessments will be invaluable in helping us stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and mitigate cyber risks associated with our technology systems, including cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including controls and countermeasures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop secure coding practices and implement secure development lifecycle processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and threat modelling.
  • Expertise in risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
