Cyber Governance Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Governance Analyst to join our team at Xpertise Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating organisational cyber risks, working with IT stakeholders on risk assessments and remediation, and tracking the effectiveness of risk reduction investments.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Cyber Governance and Assurance, with hands-on expertise in implementing and managing cyber governance and risk management frameworks. They will be proficient in addressing risk and compliance challenges, including assurance processes and monitoring methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating organisational cyber risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Working with IT stakeholders to implement security controls aligned with industry standards
  • Tracking the effectiveness of risk reduction investments
  • Managing 3rd party cyber risk processes for external suppliers
  • Manage security policy exceptions and ensure alignment with standards
  • Track and refine cyber security service metrics against SLAs

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits.
