About the Role

Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join the Heathrow project team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Health and Safety function on complex projects, ensuring compliance with legislation, procedures, and standards.
  2. Supervise and monitor construction activities, providing technical input into tenders and collaborating with other disciplines to exceed client requirements.
  3. Mentor junior members of the HSW team and facilitate the implementation of innovation and best practice.
  4. Communicate Ferrovial objectives and changes in legislation to the project management and wider teams.
  5. Support the bidding and tendering functions where required.
Requirements
  1. CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person. ISO Lead Auditor
  2. NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety. High level risk/experience
  3. Adaptable team player with good initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
  4. Enthusiastic, self-motivated with the ability to self-learn.
  5. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
  7. Excellent IT skills.
  8. Line management experience and team development skills.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong working relationships with project teams and external stakeholders.
