Compliance, Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance, Health and Safety Manager to join our expanding team at K and D Recruitment. This national role requires regular travel between our company's six depot locations. Based primarily out of one of our main depots, you will be required to visit all sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans across all locations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations by evaluating practices, facilities, and enforcing policies.
  • Work closely with site teams to drive improvements and bring about necessary changes.
  • Conduct health and safety training sessions, monitor ongoing compliance, and investigate accidents or incidents, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records, manage departmental schedules, and oversee the implementation and compliance of all health and safety and environmental policies.
  • Provide strategic guidance on health and safety matters, centralise and standardise health and safety procedures, and manage the training matrix across the group, including certifications like Forklift/IPAF.
  • Ensure safe working environments across all depots and workspaces while managing compliance for health and safety audits, including ISO standards.
