Wasserman Music is seeking a Senior Vice President of Financial Operations to enhance our financial leadership in London. This pivotal position will contribute significantly to the financial and management services of a global powerhouse in sports, music, entertainment, and culture.

Founded in 2002, Wasserman is a distinguished firm representing celebrated sports and entertainment personalities, musical talents, brands, and properties worldwide. With operations spanning 27 countries and over 62 cities, including major hubs like London, New York, Hong Kong, and Paris, we are at the forefront of the industry.

As the Senior Vice President of Financial Operations, you will be instrumental in delivering financial and management services to the Music division. Your role will encompass ensuring efficient, precise, and timely financial operations, adherence to regulatory requirements, and supervising financial controls for international affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee EMEA accounting functions for the Music sector
  • Take ownership of financial management, accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting for EMEA Music
  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and forecasting for EMEA Music entities
  • Guide and mentor your team members
  • Collaborate on annual strategic planning with the US Music division
  • Manage the accounting integration of acquisitions and new initiatives
  • Ensure robust financial controls and promptly address any issues
  • Drive high-quality financial and commercial outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and foster a culture of continuous enhancement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience with a recognized UK professional qualification
  • Proven track record in senior accounting positions
  • Experience in leading accounting teams within a multinational environment
  • Proficiency with Workday ERP and Microsoft Office suite
