Academic Support Assistant

Long-term Teachers Ltd is seeking an experienced Academic Support Assistant to join our team at a special school in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:- Provide academic support to students with SEMH needs
- Lead 1-1 academic interventions
- Support students on a personal level as well as educational
The successful candidate will be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and have a genuine interest in helping students overcome their barriers to learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Ability to lead 1-1 academic interventions
- Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
