About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Snap Care. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of support workers and providing high-quality care to our client, Georgie.

Georgie is a 13-year-old girl who requires support with all personal care, eating, and administration of medication. She communicates using body language, sounds, and facial expressions. Our team of 10 support workers provides 1:1 and at times 2:1 support to Georgie.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a team leader/senior/managerial role within health and social care. They will also have experience supporting a young person with a physical disability. As a confident driver, you will be required to travel to and from Georgie's home in your own vehicle, using an adapted WAV provided by the client.

You will be responsible for managing Georgie's care plan, supervising support workers, and ensuring that all care is provided in a safe and respectful manner. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with Georgie's family and our team.

About Georgie

Georgie is a bright and cheerful young girl who loves going on outings, feeding the chickens, and letting a guinea pig sit on her lap. She has a strong connection with her family and enjoys spending time with them. Georgie's care needs are complex, and she requires support with all personal care, eating, and administration of medication.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting Georgie in her daily life, ensuring that her needs are met, and her dignity is respected.

What We Are Looking For
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a team leader/senior/managerial role within health and social care
  • Experience supporting a young person with a physical disability
  • Confidence in driving an adapted WAV
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
