Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
  • Monitor Progress and Evaluate Effectiveness: Regularly assess the progress of students with SEN, making adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide Training and Support: Offer training and guidance to staff on SEN best practices, promoting a culture of inclusivity and support within the school.
  • Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure the school's SEN provision aligns with relevant legislation and policies, maintaining the highest standards of education.
Requirements:
  • Preferred Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognized SENCO qualification.
