Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned NPI Project Lead to join our team at StarFish Medical. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating project activities, working toward milestones and ensuring alignment with project plans and goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse, cross-functional teams in a creative and collaborative consulting environment. If you have 5+ years of experience in NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Manager, Product Management or Project Engineering roles with product responsibility and ownership, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate project activities, working toward milestones and ensuring alignment with project plans and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Production, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a focus on quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal quality control processes.
  • Oversee all product improvements that align with customer needs, such as cost reduction, reliability improvements, product quality improvements, obsolescence, regulatory changes, and other design enhancements.
  • Responsible for project health and financial reporting, including ownership of BOM costing and quoting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of experience in NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Manager, Product Management or Project Engineering roles with product responsibility and ownership.
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering or related fields or relative experience in similar fields.
  • Strong planning, relationship building, and negotiation skills required to create win/win situations for our customers and our company.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft), experience with SharePoint and MRP software.
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment would be considered an asset.
  • Experience working within an ISO environment would be considered an asset.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and experience.
