Job Title: Structural Designer - Groundworks

Future Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team. As a Groundworks and Foundations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing foundation packages for residential housing schemes and care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop foundation packages for residential housing schemes and care homes.
  • Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and ensure design specifications are adhered to.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for foundation and groundworks projects.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address design-related queries and modifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Structural Designer in the construction industry, with a focus on groundworks and foundations design.
  • Strong understanding of foundation and groundworks processes, techniques, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using design software and tools relevant to structural design.
  • Relevant qualifications in structural engineering or a related field are desirable.
