About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our London office, you will be responsible for leading an engineering cost centre and using the latest design software to create and manage structural designs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead an engineering cost centre for our London office, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
  • Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs, liaising with key clients and discussing design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources for projects undertaken, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Develop existing customer relationships and promote JMS's services, assisting in achieving targeted revenues from current and new customers.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) would be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
  • Prior experience working with historic buildings is highly desirable.
