Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Design Engineer to join our team in Enstone, UK. As a key member of the Powertrain Group, you will be responsible for designing complex hydraulic systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hydraulic schematics, diagnosing and resolving system issues.
  • Select suitable materials and hydraulic components.
  • Develop test procedures and ensure timely delivery of reliable parts meeting aerodynamic and mechanical requirements.
  • Liaise with Production and Quality Groups to lead the design of hydraulic tooling.

Requirements:

  • 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, particularly hydraulics.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., Catia V5/3DX) is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, ideally within F1, the supply chain, or motorsport.
