Job Description

This permanent position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work on-site maintenance, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and respond to equipment faults
  • Conduct regular inspections of automation systems and diagnose faults
  • Repair unplanned issues and collaborate with other engineers to design a preventative maintenance plan
  • Work with specialist equipment such as PLCs
  • Install new machinery, automate projects, and participate in site improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in accordance with company Health and Safety guidelines
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and take reasonable care for their own and colleagues' health and safety
  • Follow the Company's H&S requirements, including risk assessments, work instructions, and training
  • Work in accordance with provided information and training, without undertaking tasks that require authorisation or additional training
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A proactive work ethic and ability to establish positive relationships with internal staff and external suppliers
  • Results-oriented approach, challenging the status quo to drive improvement
  • Experience in mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, electrical maintenance, and injection/compression moulding
  • Relevant qualifications, such as C&G/NVQ/BTEC/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
