Automotive Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Equipment Specialist to join our team at Autotech Recruit Ltd. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of equipment repair and assembly, as well as the ability to operate various types of machinery.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment
* Perform repairs on equipment using hand tools and power tools
* Assemble components according to schematics and technical drawings
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Assist in training junior technicians and sharing knowledge of best practices
* Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during maintenance or installation processes
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar Senior Vehicle Technician role with a strong emphasis on mechanical knowledge
* NVQ Level 3
* MOT Licence is a nice to have
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret diagnostics for assembly and repair
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
