We are looking for a Bereavement Support Professional to join our team at St Andrews Hospice. In this role, you will work with children, young people, and adults who have experienced a loss, using individual, group, and family techniques to support them through their grief. A key part of this role will be to provide emotional support and work with clients in a variety of settings.

The salary for this position is approximately £30,000-£38,000 per year, and we offer a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme, and life insurance. About the Role:

  • Deliver emotional support to individuals, groups, and families affected by bereavement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans.
  • Prioritize your workload to manage complex cases and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 5 qualification in Counselling or related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations and supporting clients through difficult situations.
  • Knowledge of bereavement theories and processes.
