About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Analytics Specialist to join our Fraud Analytics function on a 12-month secondment/fixed-term contract. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure our fraud detection is of a high standard.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining rule sets to help identify fraud and mitigate significant exposure to financial loss. You'll also use your expertise in financial crime knowledge, data manipulation, and analysis skills to monitor and analyze fraud detection performance, owning and delivering solutions for improving individual rules.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain rule sets to identify fraud and mitigate financial loss
- Analyze fraud detection performance and deliver solutions for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality fraud detection
- Use data manipulation and analysis skills to drive business decisions

Requirements

- Experience in coding languages/programmes (e.g., SQL, SAS, Python)
- Strong knowledge of Excel for analysis, including pivot tables and VLookups
- Logical approach to problem-solving and confidence in making recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
