Learning Support Assistant for Children with Special Needs

We are seeking a Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a large primary school in Selly Oak. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work with mixed ability pupils and those with additional needs, providing small group and 1:1 support when required. This is a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to manage behaviour, support with interventions, and provide additional support to children with SEND. You will also assist with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour, ensuring that children are making good progress in the classroom.
