Assistant Construction Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects across various sectors, including Higher Education, Commercial Developments, Hotels, Leisure complexes, Retail ventures, and Restoration projects.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a proactive and driven individual who is eager to accelerate their career and take on new challenges. You will receive extensive training and support in key areas such as Project Management, Employer's Agent duties, Procurement, Dispute Resolution, and Construction Management.

As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management of various projects, conducting quality inspections, and producing comprehensive reports. You will also gain a strong understanding of construction procurement and contract management, especially JCT contracts.

We are looking for a candidate with previous Project Management experience in a UK Construction Consultancy, a construction-related degree qualification, and a proven track record of working on construction projects. If you are a self-starter with a creative and initiative-driven approach to problem-solving, and a natural ambition to achieve outstanding results, then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of various projects across a wide variety of sectors
  • Conduct quality inspections and produce comprehensive reports
  • Gain a strong understanding of construction procurement and contract management, especially JCT contracts
  • Proactively address client needs, maintaining a positive and responsive attitude

Requirements:

  • Previous Project Management experience in a UK Construction Consultancy
  • A construction-related degree qualification (QS, PM, BS)
  • A proven track record of working on construction projects
  • Highly driven, with a natural ambition to achieve outstanding results
  • A self-starter with a creative and initiative-driven approach to problem-solving
