About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our Retail Financial Modelling team at Nationwide. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of our provisions (IFRS9) and forecasting models on all Unsecured portfolios (Credit Cards, Personal Loans, and Current Accounts).

Key Responsibilities
  • Employ relevant statistical and analytical techniques to develop and maintain our forecasting and IFRS9 models
  • Employ best in class modelling practice
  • Share knowledge and expertise across the team
  • Communicate the performance of models to the wider business
  • Work with stakeholders from across the business
  • Contribute to the success and evolution of the team
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for coding and/or use of statistical tools (this includes, but is not limited to, SAS / SQL / Python or similar)
  • Have a logical and analytical mind with a passion for solving complex problems to a high standard
  • Some experience or evidence of an aptitude for modelling or analytics
  • A strong numerate or data-related degree or the equivalent role-related experience
