Risk Analyst Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst Lead to join our Forecasting and Stress Testing team at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering regulatory and internal forecasts and stress tests, working closely with Risk Analysts and Senior Risk Analysts under the guidance of a Risk Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of regulatory and internal forecasts and stress tests, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the wider society's plans.
- Form productive relationships across Nationwide to ensure our outputs are accurate and relevant to the wider society's plans.
- Improve your own knowledge on credit risk and share outcomes and learnings from individual projects with the wider team.
- Undertake analysis into both historic and future portfolio behaviour.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in statistical and analytical tools such as SAS and SQL, and proficiency in key Microsoft applications. You will have a good understanding of the financial services sector and previous experience of analysing/interpreting data in a professional environment. You will be self-motivated, articulate, and highly numerate, with experience of presenting/explaining your findings to others.
