Mental Health Crisis Resolution Opportunity

Birmingham Mind is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Crisis Intervention Worker for our Talking Spaces service. This new and exciting initiative aims to support 18-25 year olds and the wider community in managing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred interventions to address mental health crises
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support
  • Utilise available technology to enhance support delivery

About the Position:

  1. The successful candidate will possess a good understanding of mental health principles and previous experience in a similar role.
  2. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and service users.
  3. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  4. They must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £29,288 (based on a 30-hour week), which includes a competitive hourly rate and benefits such as employee assistance programmes and training opportunities.
