Smart Transport Hub is seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Delivery Lead to oversee the successful execution of our transport data collection projects. This critical role involves oversight for the project coordinator team, which liaises with clients to ensure smooth project execution.
With numerous temporary monitoring projects running simultaneously, this role is client-facing with a focus on growth and expansion. The role will require exceptional project management skills to ensure proposals, results, and payments are delivered on time and in accordance with internal procedures.
You will also be responsible for handling unforeseen issues, managing client requests, and ensuring that projects adapt to changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development of data collection surveys by strengthening existing client relationships, making the most of survey frameworks, and bringing on new clients.
- Collaboration with the site team responsible for installing and maintaining data collection equipment for transportation monitoring projects with a specific focus on increasing efficiency.
- Drive innovation and optimisation within the site team working closely with the data collection operations manager.
- Manage the project coordinator team, ensuring client communication is timely, professional, and well-coordinated.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and according to client specifications.
- Ensure that payments are processed according to internal procedures, maintaining financial oversight of project billing.
- Liaise with clients to manage changing requirements, ensuring that projects remain adaptable and that client needs are met.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure that projects are aligned with company goals and standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of project progress, client communications, and financials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a role with multiple, concurrent projects.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to handle unexpected problems and adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
- Proficient in tracking and processing project finances and ensuring adherence to internal financial procedures.
- Strong computer skills and able to quickly adapt to our project management system.
- Familiarity with transport planning or data-driven decision-making in local government.
- Experience in transport data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of traffic data collection best practices and transportation project delivery.
