Company Overview

Our client, a civil engineering & transport planning consultancy based in Central London, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their team.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 + package including a yearly bonus dependent on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to take on a key role in managing projects, clients, and teams. You will work closely with the Associate Director and be responsible for managing your own projects, ensuring budget constraints and timescales are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective project management, assuming day-to-day control and ensuring adherence to budget constraints and timescales
  • Production of high-quality Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Technical Notes, and report-based work for development projects
  • Delegating tasks to Engineers and Technicians, assisting in the training of junior team members
  • Working knowledge of junction design, highway design, DMRB, S278, S38, AutoCAD would be advantageous
  • Building strong client relationships and inputting into fee proposal preparation
