SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a Psychology graduate with a 1st Class Degree to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire child-centred experience, particularly with vulnerable children requiring additional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with children who are considered vulnerable, including those with Autism statements and non-verbal individuals.
  • Provide one-on-one support to SEN children, including those with Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties.
  • Participate in comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, including specialized manual handling training such as 'Team Teach'.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with vulnerable children with complex needs is preferred.
  • 1st Class Degree in Psychology or a related field.
