Job Description

Gregory-Martin International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineering Consultant to join our team of experts in the Defence, Space, C4ISTAR, Government, and Security sector.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in systems engineering to work on a hybrid basis, combining client site work with home and office-based activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering systems engineering services to government and industry, with a focus on communication systems, defence, space, satellite systems, security, and transport sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply systems engineering methods, tools, and artefacts to support system design, development, business decision-making, policy development, and research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Author technical reports, develop systems engineering artefacts, and present to customers, showcasing expertise in systems engineering.
  • Contribute to the development of systems engineering lifecycle knowledge and understanding, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in Electronics, Systems Engineering, Maths, Physics, or a related technical subject.
  • Proven experience in using and applying 'soft' and 'hard' systems engineering techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in Space Systems, C4ISTAR, Satellite Systems is highly desirable.
