Supporting Homeless Women in London

Church Army is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Project Assistant to join our team at the Marylebone Project in London. As a Support Project Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our service users receive the highest possible standard of support at all times.

Your responsibilities will include providing cover across the Project in various roles, including Reception, Night work, Support Services, Resettlement, and the Sanctuary. You will assist in the provision of a high-quality, needs-led support service, and work within the parameters of Church Army and Marylebone Project's policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of the challenges faced by homeless people, particularly homeless women.
  • Working experience in a customer-facing role, providing outstanding service.
  • An eye for detail and experience in concise report writing.
  • Effective de-escalation techniques and experience working with those presenting with challenging behaviours.
  • A passion for working with vulnerable women and providing outstanding service.

This is a zero hours contract, and flexibility with working hours is required. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service users of the Project receive the highest possible standard of support at all times.
