Supporting Homeless Women in London

Church Army is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Project Assistant to join our team at the Marylebone Project in London. As a Support Project Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our service users receive the highest possible standard of support at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, needs-led support services to homeless women.
  • Assist in providing safe and secure accommodation and drop-in services.
  • Work within the parameters of Church Army and Marylebone Project's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the challenges faced by homeless people, particularly homeless women.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, providing outstanding service.
  • An eye for detail and experience in concise report writing.
  • Effective de-escalation techniques and experience working with those presenting with challenging behaviours.
  • A passion for working with vulnerable women and providing outstanding service.

This is a zero hours contract, and flexibility with working hours is required. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and compliant with safeguarding policies and procedures. Safeguarding training will be required.
