Project Management Office Analyst

At Project Partners, we are seeking a detail-oriented Project Management Office Analyst to support the successful delivery of critical projects for one of our key clients. The successful candidate will play an essential role in building and maintaining the project management office (PMO), helping to drive governance, reporting, and resource management across a diverse portfolio of programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative and analytical support to the PMO Manager and Program Managers, ensuring smooth operation of the project management office and successful project execution.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of governance processes, tracking key project metrics and preparing detailed reports on program progress, risks, and resource utilisation.
  3. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date, organised, and accessible, maintaining project logs, tracking milestones, and reporting any potential issues or deviations from the project plan.
  4. Liaise with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organisation.
  5. Assist in identifying project risks and issues, working closely with the PMO Manager to implement mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution.
  6. Continuously look for opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and templates to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the portfolio.
  7. Help manage resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring that all programs have the necessary support to meet their goals.

Requirements:
  1. Experience in a PMO or project management support role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  2. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, etc.).
  3. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.
  5. Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret project data and provide insights to drive decision-making.
  6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement, always looking for ways to optimise project outcomes.
