We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our dynamic team in providing specialist care and support to adults of working age with mental health needs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, ideally with experience in forensic settings and a thorough understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
As a valuable member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to provide high-quality care and support to service users. This includes conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on best practices in social care.
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' needs, identifying risk factors and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
• Provide education and training to colleagues and students on social care best practices, including anti-oppressive practice and evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, and progress, adhering to statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements:• Relevant qualifications and registration with Social Work England
• Proven experience in social work, preferably in forensic or adult mental health settings
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
• Valid UK driving license, with access to a reliable vehicle for travel between sites and locations.
• Salary: £40,419- £51,417, depending on experience. Benefits include a pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
