Pharma Packaging Technician 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Zoetis, a leading manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a skilled Pharma Packaging Technician 2nd Shift to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for operating pharmaceutical packaging lines, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment and maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on production equipment and facilities.
- Set up and disassemble packaging equipment as needed.
- Operate material handling devices, including electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks.
- Apply the metric system to assigned process calculations.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) applicable to the area.
- Practice good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the packaging line.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 6-12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, apply general math skills, and understand mechanical skills.
- Physical requirements include prolonged periods of standing, routine lifting of 20-40 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with vision systems and robotic fillers.
- Knowledge of PC using Windows-based applications.
Work Environment
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, product dust/particulate, loud noise, temperature variations, and heights up to 25 ft.
