Zoetis, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a skilled Bio Packaging Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating biological packaging lines, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Operate assigned equipment, including PLC-controlled packaging lines and vision systems.
- Maintain accurate records, including timecards, batch records, and logbooks.
- Clean production equipment and facilities, and set up/disassemble packaging equipment as needed.
- Apply good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, and follow proper housekeeping techniques.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors, and demonstrate good attendance and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language skills: able to read and interpret procedures.
- Math skills: ability to apply general math skills.
- Basic understanding of mechanical skills and experience with hand tools.
- Meets the physical requirements of the job, including prolonged periods of standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with vision systems and robotic fillers.
- Knowledge of PC using Windows-based applications.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals, product dust/particulate, and loud noise.
Full-time position with regular hours and occasional overtime.
