About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Specialist Environmental Health and Safety to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct Environmental Health and Safety training programs to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Interface with employees and departments to identify and mitigate environmental and safety risks.
- Assist with site Emergency Response Team and develop emergency response plans.
- Investigate environmental and safety incidents and develop corrective actions.
- Complete Environmental Health and Safety projects as assigned.
- Provide overall site-wide employee health and safety responsibilities and accountability.
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
